[My verse, My thoughts] – 12

She attacked me with her words, I responded with silence. I knew who was hurt more.

Our mouth is often not in sync with our brain. We talk so much without even thinking what the other person might feel. It’s all in the heat of moment we get intimidated and provoked to reply and spark a fight or arguement. It’s better to remain silent, when you are sure that you are unsure what your brain will make you blabber. Silence with void thoughts affects the other person with repentance when their ego finally falls, else they will stop provoking, but never will it earn them a victory.
